Hed Kandi enjoyed an extra special season last year, celebrating a decade of fabulous parties on the island. Hosting a birthday party on a weekly basis is not an easy thing to pull off but the brand that is famous the world over for its ability to transform ordinary spaces into clubbing wonderlands successfully blew out its candles every week of another huge summer season. Ibiza 2013 sees it return to Es Paradis, probably as far away as you can possibly get from an ordinary space, for another serious of memorable parties and the line up for the summer has just been announced. Once Upon A Time In Ibiza sees the remarkable story continue with a host of amazing parties planned for the new season.
The opening party on June 1 sees Phil Faversham, DJ Eibhlin, Sam Cannon and Ben Santiago take on DJ duties, while the Lovely Laura returns on Sax and Dean Oram delivers percussion. It’s an experienced line up to kick off the season and one that promises to deliver the trademark Hed Kandi vibe, Es Paradis will be decked out as usual, showcasing the production skills of the brand that has made it name combining a cool, accessible sound track with some of the most elaborate club decoration. Es Paradis offers plenty of option for club transformation, with numerous levels and vantage points, which usually end up with talented and normally very bendy, performers perched upon them.
Saturday night in Ibiza and it’s a time to get dressed up, to look your best and to party with like minded people in the stunning surroundings of Es paradis. Hed Kandi has a reputation for attracting a beautiful, cosmopolitan crowd and for offering that crowd an amazing soundtrack from its list of talented DJs who drop in and out during the season. The party is not all about the DJ though, apart from the stunning decoration that surrounds you, there are a host of musicians and other talented performers on show, from the sexy dancers to double jointed acrobats, this is a carnival of clubbing that has to be seen to properly understood. Running rom June 1 until September 29 and showcasing a multitude of talent from the Hed Kandi stable and label, Ibiza 2013 promises to be another big year as the brand gets on its way towards that second decade!
