Savannah is the younger sister of the world famous sunset bar Caf
Mambo. Located at the opposite end of the sunset strip to Mambo,
Savannah offers a completely difference experience than its older
sibling. While Mambo is instantly recognised throughout the world,
Savannah has quietly but confidently gone about its business, refusing
to trade on the popularity of its older sister, preferring instead to
build a loyal fan base of its own, people who love the tranquillity it
delivers for its sunset session, peoplethat enjoy fine dining al fresco,
people who love a delicious cocktail and also people who, when the suns
goes down, like nothing better than enjoying the finest beats delivered
in an intimate surrounds though an amazing sound system.
Savannah is a popular choice for sunset, it has a morerelaxed feel about
it, the huge sails provide some cover from the suns rays and its
location offers an amazing view of the sun disappearing below the
horizon. Savannah serves up an extensive breakfast menu from healthy
smoothies and breakfasts to traditional English Breakfast. Throughout
the afternoon you can enjoy the brunch menu. Then as the evening
descends the Grill and Tapas menu is available.
After the tranquil sunset Savannah residents take the tempo up
gradually, getting everyone ready for the night ahead, there are guest
appearances from some of the pre party DJs, whetting the appetite for
the wee small hours. While Savannah is not as well know as Mambo for her
pre parties, there is one room that does get a great deal of attention,
the back room. Home to an amazing sound system, Savannah Back Room has
hosted some of the craziest parties on the island and many of the top
spinners that are on the island to play elsewhere have been know to pop
in and have a shot!
Being the sibling of someone famous can often be more of a hindrance
than help but not for Savannah. It has emerged from the shadows of Mambo
and has built up a massive following of its own around the world. .
