60 Seconds with Nightmares On Wax – Ibiza DJ

George Evelyn has continually delivered ground breaking music that draws
heavily from old soul influences while at the same time challenging and
    engaging a new audience.

What is it about Ibiza that makes it so special?

The energy, be in harmony with it and it magnetizes the good, the great
    and the amazing!

Does Ibiza still play a role in breaking a new tune?

Well it has the ability too, there is nowhere on the planet for four
months of the year that has so much attention to clubbing and more going
    musically than Ibiza.

How important is Ibiza to the building of a global club brand?

As I say, it has the ability to create wonders, so why not a brand as
    well.

    Describe your first Ibiza experience?

The first time I got on a airplane and traveled abroad I came to Ibiza for
a week in 1988, had an amazing time, even though I ran out of money after
    three days.

Away from the club how do you relax on the island?

With my family, cycling in the campo, home cooking, the simple but
    important things.

    Which is your favourite beach?

Tough to just choose one but the beach I get the most out of is Cala
D’hort because of the Es Vedra vibes and great seafood at Es Carmen.

What are you listening too chilling on the beach?

Well, if it’s a beach in the winter, just the pure energy. In the summer
I’m listening to the whole Wax On crew doing their magic at Wax Da Beach!

You’ve got a night off, where do you head for food?

Katmandu in Santa Eulalia for the best Indian food on the island, or into
Santa Gertrudis, take your pick there really.

Name three essential items needed to survive your Ibiza trip?

    1. Leave all bullshit behind and bring joy in your heart, this will help
you massively in lasting a few days or week here. 2. A sense of adventure
    3. Money, sorry but it’s true the price of paradise!

What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen/experienced on the island?

I can only answer this when it’s all over 50yrs from now, I’m sure there
    are more to come
