The summer season feels so close, I can almost taste the vodka limon. It’s
getting warmer and I’ve been a very busy boy. My pals at Vino & Co
have recently renovated their wine shop. They gave me their iconic
coloured barrels to decorate so I started with this flower/ eyball design
made with spray paint and stencils. Expect to see one back in the wine
shop soon.
On the subject of stencils, I did my first stencil class for the grown ups
a Laurelito Cafe. We had a good laugh, drank some wine and beer, and made
some really cool art. Every piece created was of such quality; it was hard
to choose some to show. Thanks to all that attended; I’ll be doing more
classes later in the year.
My clothing line has arrived on the Island and the fashion team at
Essential Ibiza did a great job on my first fashion shoot. I used good
friends to model the items and they both looked stunning. (Cheers Talulah
and Sunny). The photos will be on the Essential Ibiza website soon. All
items are available now at Echoamano in Salinas and will be on my website
soon.
Last year whilst working on the art hotel Urban Spaces, I met Lauren
Baker. She’s a fantastic mosaic artist, especially known for beautifully
decorated animal and human skulls. This year Lauren is curating the Save
The Wild Tiger exhibition in London. I’m deeply honoured to have been
invited to submit a piece for this very worthy cause and I’ll be in London
in May to attend the launch. There are several other artists involved and
all works will be auctioned at the end of the event for the charity.
That’s all for now, got a mad busy May coming up so will report back soon.
Peace, love and chocolate eggs.
