Located on the West side of the island Cala Comte is a popular
destination and can get very busy during the height of season. It’s
worth the trip though, as the sand is beautiful, the views are some of
the best Ibiza has to offer, and the atmosphere is very
laid back. The sea can be a little choppy at times and will provide some
challenges for the swimmers amongst you; there are various landmasses
dotted around the horizon to swim to and from; just make sure you’re not
out of your depth.
The eastern side of the beach is an
unofficial nudist spot but the western side is popular with families and
both sides exist without any drama. Check out the stunning views from
the Sunset Ashram restaurant perched on the cliff overlooking both sides
of the beach. Sunset Ashram serves up
both Indian and Mediterranean cuisine, and is a breathtaking place to
enjoy the sunset.
